I have nothing but respect for this man. He is the greatest to ever do it...in his respective position (SF) that is. He is the JOHN CENA of basketball, he is hated by millions (not respected) and loved by millions (by little kids, alike, Cena).

The NBA did him no favors when the league decided to SWITCH the rules and made the game easier, way more soft!

Let's be honest here, LBJ is an average shooter at best. His offensive repertoire is quite limited and he benefited greatly from the new rules, which gave the offensive players the space to bring the offense back into the game. FACT!

Some people including me cannot believe that he'll eventually surpass Kareem's scoring record. This has to be the equivalent of KLOSE breaking RONALDO's WC scoring record. What am I talking about? Look it up you muppets!

And then there's the immaturity thing:

1) Calling reporters stupid. FACT!
2) Making fun of another player's illness (DIRK), something I bet he clearly regrets now. FACT!
3) Quitting on his teams (multiple times). FACT!
4) Exiting early from Game 1 of the NBA Finals because of a severe leg cramping caused by lack of ventilation. FACT!

But wait there is more:

1) Forming super teams left and right. FACT!
2) Forcing other top stars to leave their teams to come and join him. FACT!
3) Blaming others for FINALS failures. FACT!
4) Paying off guys in the media to create a GOAT case on his behalf. FACT!

To answer your question, Professionally I don't see how you could really dislike lebron. He has that Akron work ethic. No matter what his trade ended up being he would have showed up on time and gave you a full day of hard work. Lebron has always worked hard for his teams. Why is Lebron hated so much...well several reasons...

#1 - He's playing in a 24/7 media era. In the old days before news became a big business format players were allowed to have some sense of self. Lebron really is on the clock 24/7 which means everything he does is under a microscope. So on top of having to be a great player he's also basically the players commissioner of the NBA which gives him other responsibilities for the long term health of the league.

#2 - He came after Michael Jordan. Fans are frontrunners they want to support the best and when someone comes along and challenges the best the fans take that as an opportunity to unleash their fandom. I agree Jordan is better than James...I just don't see the need or the point to rip James every day like certain people here seem to do.

#3 - Lebron has no rivals. Curry, Durant, and Giannis are great players but they aren't top ten players, the problem with the Lebron era is that guys created super teams to beat Lebron. They know they can do that because when Lebron has to do the same he gets the blame. Even though the 2nd best technical player in the league is now on three teams with more talent than Lebron has ever had...it's Lebron we blame not Durant.

#4 - Lebron is flexible. The worst thing about Lebron is he's not a SG or PF, he changes his positions to fit his teams, he likes being a second option. Jordan also liked perimeter shooters but they always had to be the third option. Lebron also loves building guys up and winning with different players...I don't know if Lebron actually hates anyone in the league...and fans hate a guy that's not a hater.

#5 - Lebron is taking records - I think Lebron wants to be basketballs Gordie Howe, Sammie Baugh, and Rickey Henderson. He's not looking at 20 when most players of his skill set retire he's looking at 25 and he's going to ring chase with his kid. and NBA fans hate wholesomeness.

To answer your question, Professionally I don't see how you could really dislike lebron. He has that Akron work ethic. No matter what his trade ended up being he would have showed up on time and gave you a full day of hard work. Lebron has always worked hard for his teams. When have we ever seen Lebron do the unethical stuff we see players doing today? Purposely sabotaging their teams in order to force a trade. Lebron always comes in as a professional and does his job.
