It doesn't make any sense to me... Just a never ending list of garbage films here recently.

Surly this isn't what he planned on doing at age 65+

I watch these trailers and I'm like.... why??? Why do this???

from 2020-2022 he will have like 30 garbage films on his resume.

is he just broke... or are these B-Films just a way of partying and having fun while making a few dollars?

He allegedly has a net worth of $250 million, so if that's even in the ballpark of being accurate, it's probably safe to assume he doesn't need the money. My assumption is if he's still starring in all these movies into his mid 60's, the guy really enjoys acting and being involved in movies. Or even if he doesn't, it's a good way for him to keep himself occupied and active.

All the actors are in shit films these days.

Come to think of it.. I haven't seen any GOOD blockbuster movie for a long time. Only good movies are on Netflix, or they're Marvel movies.

I'm not surprised that Willis is staring in B-movies now but I will say that the sheer volume of them is striking. That is a ton of action movies all packed into 3-4 years time. Fortress part 1, 2, and 3 all created within 3 years time? Wow those most be really awful :oldlol:

I also wonder who watches movies like this, because I certainly don't know anyone. A small percentages of Jr. High boys who love cheese ball action? I just can't imagine these things making any money at all.

These movies are so shitty they can film some of the action scenes for multiple movies at the same time lol

If I had fu money I still can't imagine just sitting at home. It'd be like those days you skip your morning run for whatever reason(emergency at work, catch a flight etc) and just feel shitty for the rest of the day.

The big question is why these shit B movies? My guess is they're more fun to make if you're Bruce Willis and you don't have a big name director to answer to. He's pretty much the boss on set and get his say in everything, so even if it's done shitty it's done his way.

I think this is just what he does to have fun. Some men in their 60s play golf. Willis makes action movies because he can. It probably makes him feel young like he's still living in his Die Hard days.

Many simple men who don‘t check out ratings nor have any idea what imdb is think these are proper action movies…

Also girls. Girls put on anything. Talked to a girl recently and she was gushing over all these movies, I put them into imdb and they were all rated around 5.

The trailers are kinda interesting.... have any of you guys actually watched any of these? So much corn and B-Film material... getting on Nic Cage level.

$hit is crazy.... and mind boggling... I'm really scratching my head here... Bruce Willis was a childhood favorite, how could this happen?

This

Most of the great movies that Willis has starred in were great because of the script/direction or because of his supporting cast. Not that I put much stock in the awards hollywood gives themselves, but theres a reason why hes never won a single noteworthy award for his acting despite appearing in tons of huge movies.

Die Hard 5.... terrible movie.

But I'd rather it exist than have no Die Hard 5 at all.

The Predator, Terminator Genesis, Indiana Jones 4.... those are sequels to 80's films that should not exist.

Die Hard 5, as bad as it was, gets a pass.

He was never that good an actor to begin with.

I disagree ... he had some of the best films I had ever seen.
Last movie I saw him in , he not only looked like 80 , but moved like he was 80... I believe his career is over unless he gets into comedies .

Yes, but both those actors produce or direct their own movies. Plus they can both act. Willis has never been known for great acting for the most part. Just action films in his prime.

This is absolute nonsense, TONS of great actors make great content into their later years

Michael Caine, Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman, Daniel Day Lewis, Jack Nicholson, Jeff Bridges, Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, John Goodman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Sean Connery, Christopher Walken, Kurt Russel, Gene Hackman, Martin Sheen, Michael Douglas, Danny Devito, Sam Elliot... etc etc etc

I read an article about these flicks. They're shot in like a week and guys of Bruce's stature are only needed on set for like 2 days at most. He gets anywhere from $1-5 million for two day's work and his face is only in the movies for about 20 minutes. He could do 10 of these things a year, work a grand total of a month and pocket a ton of change. Probably a better schedule for a guy who was dealing with a fairly severe medical issue that affected his speech and cognition.
