Great news for England and Manny98. But horrible news for Bladef and others. Another L for the vaccine cucks, but they're still eating good with the upcoming Omicron booster from Pfizer (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?501371-Pfizer-starts-trials-for-omicron-specific-booster). And probably more boosters to follow.

what did it ever accomplish? That is the bigger question. Pathetic overstep of authority.

I feel bad for future generations now that the lines of what's appropriate is being pushed in the wrong direction.

Covid has changed so much since the classic COVID that it's not even the same thing. Omicron has a very different structure that is mutated in multiple places and is much milder relative to classic COVID or the UK variant or even the Delta.

I expect the next variants to be even milder than Omicron. Transmissibility has gone up, but virulence has dropped. Just look at chest xrays between the original COVID and Omicron. There is significantly less scarring/damage to the lungs from the latter than the former. It is indisputable.

Actually, if you look at the evolutionary tree of the variants, very weirdly the Omicron variant comes straight out of the original. It's a different variant than the original, it has a lot of mutations, but it has absolutely no connections between all the variants that came right after the original China flu that's been gone for almost two years. It's literally as if it traveled a year and a half into the future.

It's still very different in structure and virulence from the original COVID due to all the mutations. You can't talk about the 2 as if they are the same because they are not. That's my only point.

I don't think the original COVID even exists anymore. It's delta, which is now quickly getting overtaken by Omicron. Delta is pretty much extinct. I won't be surprised if Omicron is replaced by something even weaker in virulence. I think this is also probably how the Spanish flu acted a century. They just didn't have the technology to model all the variants so we don't know.

So how many more boosters are you getting then?
