I have a hard time imagining some GM actually gave the Brook the supermax. 5yrs/206mill. He has the 4th biggest contract in NBA history. Not even Embiid, Lebron, Durant, Jokic have a similar contract. Luka just signed a similar contract, but it has not kicked in yet (this is 4 years after the Brook under bigger caps so the Brook's contract technically was much bigger relative to the cap). Only Giannis has a similar contract that is worth it & Curry, but both are beyond the Brook's league.

I question Sam Presti's decision-making after that contract. He did a good job acquiring all those draft picks, but I have a feeling when it comes time to convert all those picks into actual players, he is going to blunder it. I won't be surprised if he ends up on the same path as Danny Ainge. Ainge collected all those assets and left a mediocre .500 team.

That's false. It's a judgement call from the officials if the offensive player initiates contact/lowers the shoulder to such a degree that they deem it offensive. I've seen it go both ways.

I'm not upset at the outcome of the game... but the state of the officiating. I've seen battier and Fisher draw a million charges. Hubie Brown was absolutely shocked they didn't reverse that blocking foul. So you have no standing. It was a horrendous momentum changing call. And shows the state of the league. Guys can throw a spinning back kick at a defender and if his pinky toe so much as twitched its a blocking foul. :lol
