When I checked a few hours ago Harden was playing. I’d hate to even try to attend a game these days. Can’t assume anyone shows up.

Yeah. Kawhi is a player I really wish I could be a fan of, but it's hard to because he started all the load management crap. If you're hurt, sit it out. If you're not, there's no excuse for not playing.

Kawhi wouldn't sit out big games like this on a non back to back. The way i see it, the superstar carries your ass the entire season. The least you can do as a role player is beat the bad teams he usually ends up sitting out against. On top of that, he's helping you get your stats up to get paid. Sounds like a good teammate to me. As long as he's not taking playoff games off for rest.

That's one perspective....I see it a lot differently though. I see it as the role players don't get to take games off, so why should the stars? At best, it's poor leadership.

I'm sure it's happened some time before, but I can't remember a star ever having the kind of slump Curry's been having that wasn't from an injury. Maybe the dude needs to see a psychiatrist or something.

Just hope the KD injury isn't that serious. The Nets have played like ass since he went down.

Warriors on the other hand are gonna be a problem once Draymond comes back (and when Curry finally wakes up, lol).

That's what's scary about the Warriors. They've accumulated the 2nd best record in the league with Klay barely playing and Curry being in a slump for 2 months. They've also now won 5 in a row without Dray. If those 3 are healthy and the Splash Bros, esp Curry, are playing to their regular capacity, watch out. I'd still pick a healthy Nets team to win it all, but the Dubs would be my pick to come out of the West.

It's called strategy/brand of ball (no talent needed) - without all those players that you listed (talent reduced), the Warriors can still win (strategy/brand).

But the #1 option can't be a ball-dominator otherwise the Warriors would have to play "Curry-ball" (spot-up roles for teammates) and then start over learning a good brand when he's out.. I know - it seems dumb and low IQ but a lot of teams play that way and need moar help all year regardless of cast.

It behooves the Nets to drop down to #6 in the East and NOT have home court advantage (so they have Kyrie).

Yup.

Guys like Wiggins and Otto Porter Jr. and Jordan Poole were all castaway players and underachievers... Now Wiggins is an All Star starter with a full bag (3s, midrange posting, and slashing forays + their best defender) and Otto is basically 2015 Iggy.

Come to think of it Iggy, Bogut, Barnes, Livingston and Barbosa were all throwaways in 2015 too. Warriors system simply squeezes max juice out of its players because when Kerr first got there he told everybody to "...swing the ball". It was as simple as that.

Dumbass analysts really undersold how good the Warriors' depth is, while exaggerating the Nets' depth.

As I have said since the beginning of the season, the Nets' depth sucks ass. Meanwhile, you had people on this forum, Reddit, and Realgm who were on suicide watch when they signed Aldridge (close to washed, can't guard a traffic cone) and Millsap (beyond washed at this point). However, that isn't surprising since all of those forums are full of idiots who barely follow the NBA.

The Warriors have great depth in comparison.

That strategy is not great because Curry has underperformed several times in the playoffs.

His style of play is useful, but not as useful as you are making it seem.
