Other things….Oakley having more flagrants personally than 15 teams and causing the rule change on how many you could accrue before a suspension. Riley ****ing up and not playing Rolando Blackman at all in the finals because of a personal dispute over wives coming to Houston with them and that possibly being why Starks wasn’t pulled in the 2-18 game 7. And for the record I **** with Anthony Mason. I think modern fans would hate him….physical…no outside shot…but plays 5 positions. Would probably have terrible advanced numbers. He probably played too many minutes for his per to be anything. Just a weird guy to evaluate that way. But he could score 16 ugly points…throw an 80 foot bounce pass….guard Jordan or Shaq…get 15 rebounds….run the offense in spots…he was useful. Just didn’t play a visually appealing game for todays fan. I liked him though. Even as the Bulls enemy I respected him. Just saying….Biggie had his girlfriend and left his house with his money:

From day one people wondered who it was. Starks was the rumor so often he had to deny it. Later it was Mason. And after he died people confirmed it was him…much to the annoyance of his fans and some others who knew it was him and were sworn to secrecy.

Starks did an interview on the same show admitting the story was true but not who it was about. Oakley when asked gets annoyed and says it’s none of his business and Mason never admitted it to him. Which is probably the right way to play it. It’s nobodies business really…except….someone involved made a song kinda putting the business out there. Oak isn’t the type to ask about someone’s business really. I’m surprised he takes the question as calmly as he does. He’s mellowed with age(though Dolan might disagree).

Very much so but I didn’t wanna get into an argument about it. Dray is what Mason might be had he come up in a world of 3 point shooters. Tough ball handling 3 with the strength to guard the biggest of bigs but foot speed to play guards….

He was that eras version but with a better touch in the paint.

Well sure cooperating is always the right thing to do in his situation it’s just funny. If a guy is threatening you and you are armed with the fact his girlfriend got ****ed in his own bed, the guy who did it then robbed him, and made a song about it bragging it would be tempting to toss it out there. Stupid. But tempting.

Just in a “Oh so you gonna kill me….but ol buddy walked casually out your house after ****ing your girl and you paying him to leave in peace. He up the street making records to this day but you gonna kill me for benching you down the stretch on an off night? That’s ****ed up Ant. Priorities.” kinda way.

What happened to Mason could’ve happened to anybody. Trusted a goofy bitch and was put in a bad spot.


Realistically, I think a lot of guys would rather die than have it go down how it sounded. Well not a lot of guys but more than you would think and Biggie innately knew that so he had his gun out.

He gagged the girl and gave him the out. I wonder how it would’ve went if he walked with him balls deep in her. Somebody’s dying.

Even just hearing it makes it sound so unacceptable. God the rage.

And then the song was released after death so it’s the minimal amount of damage that could possibly happen to Mason’s pride and ego while the story is true.
