Dailey would've been enough to win the 00's East because 1-star teams were routinely winning that conference, whereas a super-team was needed to win the 80's East.
Furthermore, 09' Mo Williams had higher scoring, efficiency, PER, BPM, WS/48, and VORP than 90' Pippen.. So Lebron had a better team on both sides of the ball than 90' Jordan - yet Jordan beat him to titles by winning the following year, while Lebron lost again in 2010 despite adding Jamison/Shaq to a 66-win league favorite.
Mo's 2009 and 2010 equals prime Klay offensively based on PER, WS/48, etc... Although Mo gets twice the assists as Klay.
This prime Klay offense and spacing effect improved a bummy 45-win team to 66 wins in 09'.

Super-team were required to win 80's East, whereas the 00's East was won by 1-star teams like Dwight without homecourt advantage

Despite the weak conference, Lebron couldn't win it with homecourt in 09' and 10', so he formed super-teams

Actually Quintin Dailey averaged 16 points with Jordan. In 27 minutes. Certainly better than Mo Williams' 18 points in 35 minutes. And oh yeah, Jordan also had another player who averaged 23 on 55% that same season. Yet all that wasn't enough for more than a 38-44 record and a first round exit to Terry Cummings.

Because of the weak LEASTern Conference of Lebron's era.

Bron turned a second option on a 25 win team into prime Klay overnight?! That talent elevation by Bron, unprecedented. Insane PER, WS/48, etc... wait a minute. Horace Grant had better numbers in those categories as a third option?! Talk about stacking the deck in the 90s

Mo was already getting 17 and 6 apg before Lebron - Lebron actually lowered Mo's assists to 4
And Mo joined a bummy, 45-win team in 2008, but his Klay- offense made them a 66-win league juggernaut.. That was our first serious realization that Lebron needs the best shooting around him for a viable team.
Ultimately, Dailey would've been enough to win the 00's East because 1-star teams were routinely winning that conference, whereas a super-team was needed to win the 80's East.

But all those advance Klay like stats weren’t apparent the year before he joined Bron. LeGOAT elevated. Also what’s with Horace Grant having similar PER, WS/48, etc… as a third option, since those are quite important stats in judging a player

Detroit wasnt anything close to a superteam. They only had 1 all-star in 88 and 89... the year MJ quit in the middle of the ECF
