If The Great Scott Pippen was able to win 6 rings with a team that went 40-42 the season before his to his rookie year, he would've at least won 7 rings with a team that went 41-41 the season before his rookie year.

What if the "Bad Boy Killer" (Worthy) was added to the 89' Bulls?
So it's a dumb analysis because you can't just add a player to a team that is already on the cusp - you have to take a player away (REPLACE a player).
So if we replaced Miller's 2nd option (Smits) with Pippen, then Miller's sidekick help in the 98' ECF would be reduced - Smits averaged 16 on 55% versus Pippen's abysmal 16 on 39%.
This is similar to the Knicks who lost 3 times to the Bulls despite Pippen getting outplayed each time (89' ECSF, 92' ECSF, 96' ECSF
Here's the reality - Smits and Pippen were the same caliber, or maybe peak Smits was more of a force.. ANY sidekick like Smits, Pippen or Terry Porter would've won with MJ - it's all "pippen-caliber" (not that spectacular)

Took MJ away and replaced with Pete Myers = 1 bad call away from the ECF. Incredible feat considering he was out of the league for 2 seasons just prior to signing.
No wonder MJ said he wouldn't play for any other coach after that magic coaching job.

The triangle needed the goat scorers to win - guys that could consistently bail out the offense throughout the game without dominating the ball - Jordan invented the quick-iso footwork to do this, and Kobe copied it.. The triangle has zero rings without MJ or his clone (kobe).. They literally WERE the triangle and it was nothing without them.
And the Bulls were lottery without MJ in 95' after losing in the 2nd Round... So Pippen destroyed a 3-peat dynasty to lottery in less than 18 months..
Btw, you can't compare the 3-peat caliber that MJ left behind to the 2nd Round losers that Lebron left in 2010, or the record loser he left in 2014 (equivalent of a 1st Round Western team)

Wrong again.
NBA championship teams that used triangle offense full time
1967 Sixers
1972 Lakers
1990s Bulls
2000s Lakers
NBA championship teams that used triangle offense part time, more than just a few possessions
1970 Knicks
1971 Bucks
1974 Warriors
1977 Blazers

Can you just skip the first few paragraphs of yawn and just say 'player X is better than Pippen'? Every post you make eventually comes to that conclusion, so just cut out the fat.

They win a couple, maybe more.
no bulls team can beat them without having Pippen; actually bulls probably only win in ‘96 without Pippen.

Thats probably enough to steal Olajuwon's rings and maybe more if in this hypo Jordan never gets a decent sidekick which is what a ton of dumb stans assume if he plays without Pippen lol.

Right.
If you don’t say who Bulls have well all you can go by is
Bulls - Pippen which of course = Fail

You add an all time great player to any decent team and they're gonna do pretty well.

Reggie is going to be regarded as the Stephen Curry of his era. And also easy shots for him.

1) Hakeem and Barkley were 36 with a near 34 year old Pippen coming off back surgery. If we merely ignore that, saying this trio lost in the first round would be pretty damning for all concerned, not just Pippen. Fortunately it's not, once you apply context and sense.
2) The team they lost to went on to win 3 consecutive championships after that season.
3) But you already knew that.

Even Hubert Davis himself implied that this was a bullshit call by trying to justify its existence based on something that happened during the Bulls-Knicks series in the previous playoffs. Here is Davis' exact quote:
"We felt like Charles Smith got fouled a year before. Maybe things evened out."
And guess who the Bulls had on their roster a year before that they didn't have when the "foul" on Davis took place? No, it wasn't Trent Tucker.
Here is the play Davis is talking about, where Charles Smith gets blatantly fouled too many times to count on non-verticality rule body contact while he is actually attempting a shot:

But you don't get called for this when you're playing against a team with Michael Jordan on the roster. Instead they wait for Jordan to leave that team so they can pay the Knicks back with a completely bullshit call on a player that wasn't close to being touched as he was taking the shot. That's how it was all throughout the 90s and David Stern's darling Michael Jordan, who later went on to get away scot-free on a blatant push-off on Bryon Russell. :facepalm
