Cultivating an organic free flowing offense like Jordan did. It’s amazing what building a legit team chemistry can achieve rather than trying to accumulate box scores by ball domination. It’s the difference between prioritizing winning rather than statistics. And the results speak for themselves. Basically not being a Russell Westbrook.

they played a lot better without curry chucking out there and being a blackhole on defense.

Agree. When curry doesn’t play they tend to have a Poole (Jordan) party which is a winning by community strategy

How have the Suns and Celtics done in the past decade?
Nice support group you guys have formed. Good luck with that.

I feel like Popovich should probably hang it up at this point. Dude is 73 and the Spurs are not gonna get better anytime soon.

If pop wasn’t a low iq egomaniac he would have retired at the same time as Duncan. He exposed himself.

Farmer Kerr’s fresh, organic, homegrown products is what keeps the warriors winning in a natural and wholesome way. Compare that to the waste producing, factory farm and hormone injected stuff you get at McBronalds. That stuff gives you cancer.

Oh I’m sorry, whose product was on the menu come playoff time last year?
Both were part of the experimental national taste test.
One made it to the playoff menu. One didnt.
THE END.

Yup... when you involve everybody and play as a true team culture they can sustain it in short bursts even with guys missing. When you revolve everything around one player and he leaves the team will be left in shambles. Common sense. "Westbrooking" is like putting all your eggs in one basket.

Curry's game is fundamentally-sound and complete with elite jumpshooting skill, so coaches can implement a good brand of ball movement - they don't have to play "Curry-ball" and then start over with a good brand whenever he's out.

That's what made the Cavs 2016 title win so impressive.

You can't have a Poole party if its not nice out.
Jordan Poole is a fantastic breakdown dribble player and scorer. If they told him to just spot up? He'd be nothing. It would be a rain cloud on the Poole party.

Last year when the warriors didn't have iggy or klay active in the roster, they were 9th seed at best. Look where they're at now. True lucky charm indeed.

That they beat a less talented team that lived off of a superior brand of ball??.. :biggums:
The Cavs had more talent so they were the preseason favorite in 15' and 16' - this assessment proved exactly correct as a healthy Cavs took the title in 16', while a Kyrie-less Cavs lost the prior year.. aka once the 16' Cavs had their full cast, they fulfilled their on-paper projection (preseason favorite)..
A full, healthy cast for Lebron's teams means unprecedented help, specifically sidekicks that destroy league MVP's or FMVP's like 11' Bosh over Rose; Kyrie over Curry; Wade over fmvp Dirk; or AD over Jokic.

Good post.
Yeah, Poole is a nice player but he's much closer to a prime Nick Young or JR Smith than some kind of franchise cornerstone.
True but nick young and jr smith were almost exclusively 3pt bombers. Poole has a distinct dribble breakdown game that imo is far more advanced than, either of theirs. They were more deadly catch and shoot 3 though.
