Her career trajectory's in keeping with her early work. She was never destined to be a Hollywood star. Staff like Big Love is her closest flirtation with that kind of celebrity.

I dont recognize a single movie on her IMDB after 2003 other than zodiac and broken flowers where she's an extra

she went from doing significant roles in mainstream movies to basically doing B movies

her career wasn't ever gonna be like an Oscar winner or anything but she probably coulda got more stuff made for theaters lol

She was never going to sustain that. I mean, look at what she got between that and the time of The Brown Bunny. The Last Days of Disco was Stillman with a bit of money. It was a slight reward for the yield on Metropolitan and Barcelona. It tanked. It took Stillman 13 years to get another crack - and then he did good business on Love & Friendship. Anyway, you can bet this dimmed any potential star power of Sevigny. Beckinsale got through it because she's Beckinsale. Sevigny's "that quirky girl who did those Korine pictures". She's not exactly someone they're looking at giving a third and fourth try.
