You just have less voters. You have gotten the most votes in a national election once in 30 years and white males are becoming less of a factor as time goes on. Relying on minority rule to keep the senate from going too blue for too long is the only thing that prevents a long term sweep. Long as states with less people than my county can send two senators the people in the woods will always be heard from. But you aren’t the majority.

You just have less voters. You have gotten the most votes in a national election once in 30 years and white males are becoming less of a factor as time goes on. Relying on minority rule to keep the senate from going too blue for too long is the only thing that prevents a long term sweep. But in terms of real issues, like fiscal policy, society is trending right if anything.

And the idea of Texas turning blue is overstated. Outside of the cities, Texas is deep red, its just that only 1/3 of eligible voters in the red areas turn out to vote. Compared to the blue cities, where due to illegal ballot harvesting, drop boxes, and other shenanigans, a much higher percentage vote. The GOP needs to clean this up, in every state. Hence why the Dems are so against voter id and more secure elections.
