Lol. How'd he do in crunch time?

Oh that's right. He missed the game winner and disappeared in overtime.

AD carried the entire defense and was the most efficient scorer as usual.

Yup. But if you're giving credit where it's due, Monk gets most of the responsibility for the win. You should start a thread about him.

AD too.

What a performance by the GOATest!!

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. After missing 5 games, and the refs conspiring against him too, he still carried this bum 6-11 without him franchise to a THICK W.

Hey, a win is a win, and enjoy it.

But I've never seen a group of fans get their panties so soiled over a regular season win against a lottery team.

You guys are a cute bunch.

He's a whopping 0.2% higher in field goal percentage this season.

Davis has to do everything defensively and also carry a 25-30 point scoring load, Lebron gets to coast on D.

Davis 3 steals and 4 blocks.

Lebron statuesque on defense.

Should have been 31 if the Refs didn’t rob him of that put back dunk.

Nice game from the old man nevertheless :applause:

Lol what? LeBron is significantly more efficient than Davis.

You mean when he stat-padded his numbers playing the 5 vs. horrible defenses and still lost most of those games in that stretch?

he was all over defensively too. like i was told by my source there was no knee injury...just needed a rest from carrying those bums without ad.

Both AD & LeBron were great tonight, but it's obvious to everyone that LeBron is more important to this team. Didn't someone who is staffed by the Lakers recently say "Everyday LeBron is out, we sink". They were absolutely terrible without him these last games, even with AD back.

To be fair to AD, his best teammate is Malik Monk when LeBron is out. And of course he is forced to endure 35 minutes of the corpse of Westbrook.

For all the trolling, the Lakers need both of them healthy and playing well to have any semblance of being in championship contention. Though I'm not even sure the two of them are enough to overcome the albatross that is Russell Westbrook :lol

Funny how they ignore the +/- tonight, but they are all over it the moment LeBron randomly has a bad +/- game.

It's pretty incredible how Westbrook is making a duo that was the number one seed in 2020 and the number one seed in 2021 before injuries struggle to even hit .500. LeBron and AD+role players is proven to be an elite team when healthy. Now they suck. Westbrook is THAT bad.

Not really. One blowout loss @ Philly but all the other games were close and came down to a few plays, even the one where both Bran & AD were out. Davis has to do everything defensively because no one can guard on the perimeter, it's a miracle they're currently 14th in DRTG.

LeBron has a plus/minus of +7 this year. AD is at -49.

And lets not pretend like AD has played like he did tonight all season. Before his injury, he legit looked like he wasn't interested. From late October up until his injury in mid December he was averaging like 22 ppg, far from what he was in 2020.

Fr, I'm willing to entertain AD being equal to or better than 37 year old LeBron if he plays like he did in 2020, but he hasn't been that guy in a while. Maybe he's starting to be that guy again, though?

That really means nothing considering the amount of games & minutes, both have a low +/- here. AD shares more minutes with brickbrook so his +/- is obviously a bit worse.

AD averaged 23/10/3 2 blocks 52%FG before his injury. He was heavier and he's obviously cut that weight while injured, which is why he looks faster now. Not sure who's idea it was for him to put on extra muscle coming into the season.
