2014-15 he missed the full season, 2019 he missed most of the playoffs, 2020 he missed the full season, 2021 he only played 35 games, this season he was at about mid 30 games played and he's injured indefinitely again.


Durant doesn't get cheap shotted like kawhi does either. In 2019 2nd round he injured himself by running with no one even near him.

A few elite teams are doing this which screams desperation on one side and having a yes man coach like Nash on the other. KD should be on max 32MPG playing time or take a lot more breaks if he's going to play 36MPG except for blowouts.

Durant actually wasn't injury-prone for the first 7 years of his career (missed a grand total of 16), until 2014-15 when he got hurt (Jones fracture in his foot) and played sporadically in only 27 games.

From 2015 till 2018 he missed 42 games, and he missed the entire 2019-20 season recovering from that blown Achilles in the 2019 Finals.

Now, Durant has played in 35 out of 72 games in 2020-21, and 36 out of 53 (and counting) in 2021-22.

Durant has missed 125 games in the last 3 seasons.
