The difference between Total Recall and The Matrix is that the former immerses you in the false reality, while the latter seemingly reveals the truth about our existence. Or does it? Dude, thanks for mentioning Philip K. Dick. A movie I really love was adapted from one of his novels, I'm going to make sure to read it and probably also read Minority Report which was a decent film.
