Eh. It was nice but Giannis was trying to do 2 things at once and was just a step late. Not really that big of a deal.

pretty much this

if things were reversed ayton roids or no roids probably wouldn't of even attempted the block

Still a good contest. Had his hand on the ball, Ayton just had more momentum on the dunk.

Giannis fans are the worst I've encountered in my history of basketball. All body no skills

Not necessarily. More like the neighborhood kids at the ball court

You don't understand that kids love Giannis? I've had debates with youngins about Giannis and Lebron. the kids slurp Giannis, Lebron and Curry.

Eh excuses. How is he a step late if he has his hand on the ball. That was a stronger contest than most players that get posterized. If he would have blocked Ayton(again) everyone would have been clowning Ayton(again) so no excuses for Giannis.

He's in literally the exact same position as he was when he had that famous block on Ayton in the Finals last year, he just didn't manage to get up as high as Ayton this time and Ayton nearly broke Giannis wrist backwards throwing it down

Because it's Giannis. He can do that kind of stuff.

I'm not hating on the finish at all, but Giannis was clearly closing on the slasher and got caught slightly out of position.

Perfect pics demonstrating that Giannis only needs 3/4 of a second to a second of recognition to appropiately defend Ayton. Maybe even less in the finals.
