James Harden or Bradley Beal

Forget the teams they're on and look solely at the player.

James Harden is currently 32.

Bradley Beal is currently 28.

Who do you think is more deserving of a max deal?

I'd take Beal. Harden's an overall better player, but Beal has less accompanying drama.

Yep....Harden would have quit and forced his way off the Wizards by now.

What does Harden have to do with the Wizards?

Noth8ng but to be fair that applies to any struggling team. Harden is an MVP and a HoF lock but Beal will stick with yiu when it's tough and that matters. Between that and the difference in age and I would go with Beal even though Harden is better right now.

Based on age, Beal. But by my own hand? Harden easily.

Beal. At least you know he won't give up and have a terrible attitude. Harden is the better player but is just a joke of a human being.

I dont want either player on a max deal but if I have to choose one Id choose Beal

Would choose harden only because he can play some defense. Beal is a midget who’s offense took a dive and he can’t defend

Both better options than anyone on the Celtics.

It's a pair of bad choices...I would go with Harden just because it's 1 Max deal and you should be competitive. Beal has injuries and difficulty when it comes to winning.

You are promised a Ferrari before accepting a job opportunity. Only to find out you are getting a one year bus pass to do your job instead. How would you feel? The Nets organization itself seems like a hot mess.

Harden is infinitely better. Stop it.

Career
Beal: 22/4/4 - very good
Harden: 25/6/7 - all time great

More deserving? Tough question.

Harden based on history and overall play the last 7 years or so, but more recently he's only played like 80% of his normal play and has proven to be willing to give up and throw teammates under the bus with this "we don't have talent" talk with 2 different teams the last 2 years, while also not being accountable to stay in shape.

With the age difference, I have to go Beal just slightly.

Nah, it was still a Ferrari just one that breaks down.

The Nets aren't a team without talent just couldn't get everyone on the floor together.

End of the day Harden forced a trade there. Imagine someone fighting with AutoNation to exchange a Ferrari because they want a Lamborghini they saw on the lot instead and then when they go through all the trouble to get it done, a month later the customer returns and says the Lambo isn't what they expected and they want a Porsche instead.

At some point the dealer is not to blame.
