2009 ECF - 4th quarter FT shooting

Dwight.... 70% (https://www.nba.com/stats/player/2730/traditional/?Season=2008-09&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=3)
Lebron.... 69% (https://www.nba.com/stats/player/2544/traditional/?Season=2008-09&SeasonType=Playoffs&Period=4&PORound=3)

dwight ragdolled Lebron in the critical game 4 OT that swung the series

First of all, I don't understand why the Lakers gave Brony the last shot. He's been missing game winners all season. It was a lock that he would miss.

And then when he gets gifted three free throws by the ref AFTER missing his game winner, he still misses two out of three

Most empty stats of all time.

His game 7 finals FT (16-18) is higher than Kobe's (11-15) though.

Yeah and they were probably all taken in the 1st quarter. You’re a Fukien loser

He can be brutal at the FT line at the end of a game, and was really bad overall in the 4th tonight. To his credit though, I don't remember him missing many, if any, critical FT's in the final seconds in the playoffs.

He's 10-21 in the last 15 seconds of 4th quarter or OT, so he misses more than he makes in the clutch

Lebron also lost every critical OT of his playoff career and has no big shots in 10 Finals (0-9), while being the turnover king (many turnovers in the clutch)

That's more than enough to know that he's a choker, even without considering his failure-then-collusion career choice.

Word, the guy with 4 FMVP's, the most playoff GW's ever and ATG playoff & Finals numbers is definitely a choker. Good points made as always :applause:

4 rings mean nothing because anyone wins if they have enough tries - 10 tries means he's a loser and a choker (0-9 in the Finals = goat choker)'

it's funny because Lebron is literally GOAT at missing free throws because he was GENIUS in missing that last FT - i've never seen anyone try to miss that way - truly a genius player

Yeah, that last free throw was HILARIOUS. The man just can't stop losing.

That's literally the best way to intentionally miss a FT (that high arch) - I'd never seen anyone do that but I should've known that Lebron could find the best way to miss.. guys will be intentionally missing that way from now on - the "lebron" intentional miss technique..

Announcer of some random game in the future: "well, he needs to miss this FT, so the "lebron" technique is the best way"

Some players have defining moves. Allen Iverson’s cross. MJ’s fade away. LeBron’s free throw brick

Everyone knew there was no chance in Hell Lebron was hitting all 3 free throws the other other night. Everyone.

Lebron also has the stiff-arm dribble drive to the basket.

Game 7 in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 Finals, James makes all 3 FTA in route to the greatest comeback in NBA history.

Bron wasn't even focused on the rim for the first of his 3 FTs against the Warriors down 3.
