Who's better?
Both excels at defense. Both non scorer. Both a headcase.
Rodman better at rebound. Simmons better at assist.

To answer that question, I need to compare the two players’ stats. Ben has eight rebounds per game, nine assists per game, 13 blocks per game, and ten steals per game. Dennis has seven rebounds per game, nine assists per game, six blocks per game, and five steals per game. As the two players compete against each other in this matchup of defensive prowess, we can see why they're both so successful. io games (https://iogamesio.onl)

Ben Simmons is easily the better basketball player but is also the bigger headcase. Wild as he was Rodman did everything he could to get on the court. Simmons may have lost more money this season than Rodman made in his entire career. We will never know what Rodman would have been like with Simmons' financial security but nothing he ever did says that we would see Rodman do what Simmons did to Philly.

Simmons is way more talented. Rodman couldn’t handle the ball or pass or really score at all, even at the peak of his career
In his time with the Pistons, Rodman might have been the best defender in NBA history. He was also an elite rebounder.
Despite his flaws and erratic behavior, Rodman was a winner willing to do all the little things at an elite level. Summons has chocked on the biggest stage in ways that few in the history of the sport ever have.
In my mind, until he does something meaningful when it matters, he’s talent and skill level is irrelevant in this debate. Rodman was a big part of the reason his teams won championships. Simmons has been a big part of the reason his teams Haven.
Case closed.

He was a headcase due to the situation in Philly and the way he was treated, he's not going to be like that with the Nets
Rodman was a GOAT level role player but still a role player
Simmons is a 3x all star at the age of 24 and will be in the best player in the world conversations in a couple of years
It's a no contest

They're 2 different players.
Dennis Rodman isn't afraid to score a wide opened bucket under the rim.
