Matt Stafford just won a SB and turned around his biggest negative (0-3 in the playoffs) to 4-3 with three game winning drives. Statistically he's around 11-12 in most QB stats and unless he gets injured or retires he's going to be top ten in everything. The case against him is 1 Pro-Bowl appearance, no MVP's a losing record and a crowded HOF QB field.

The nfl HOF is not very meaningful anymore. Any halfway decent player gets in if they made a probowl & won a chip so ofc he will get in.

It's still way more meaningful than the basketball hall of fame. Cliff Branch for example just got in, this is a guy who had more receiving yards than any other player from 1974-1980, won 3 super bowls and made an All-Pro team 3 times. The fact that he got in like 35+ years after he retired and now dead is a shame.
