View Full Version : LAL should buy out Lebron, let him join a contender then re-sign him in the offseason

This is honestly the best decision for all involved, including the fans and the league.

Nobody wants to see a playoffs without Lebron. He's literally the game's GOAT scorer and he's still playing at an MVP level. But his teammates are severely jeopardizing his participation in the post season.

Lebron is still loyal and committed to the Lakers. And he can come back next year when they have more opportunities to make some moves. But for right now, he deserves to join another team for a Finals run.

Isn't there like a rule that says that if you leave a team, you can't come back right away for about a year or so

Maybe, but the league could always change the rule during the offseason, and thus it wouldnt apply to next year and Lebron could return.

Normally Im not in favor of that kind of thing, but in this instance I think it’s in the best interest of the game.

I liked Philly as a landing spot for Bron, but with Harden there now I like it less.

Altho anything is better than his current situation.

Disagree.

I think you're being very biased. You should not dicktate LeBron's future. You should be the last person to make this type of judgement call because when it cums to LeBron, you're nuts and he's always in your mouth everyday.

Lakers should have manned up and traded Brony to the Rockets. He'd fit right in with the China suck-ups over there.

that rule is there for a reason. It can be easily abused by contending teams
