No sane person could agree with this.

Absolutely tragic that lives were lost but it was the misuse of a product. Where will this end. Should car manufacturers or alcohol providers be liable for drink driving deaths?

Didn't they settle? Which if I'm not mistaken means no one found them guilty but they just pay so the lawsuit goes away.

Those guns can be utilized to shoot bullets into the filthy windows of your 6x6 government-funded shoebox.

Remington's $73 million settlement with Sandy Hook families is the first time a gun manufacturer has been held liable for a mass shooting.

They are now bankrupt.

Victory!

The same thing should happen to Alex Jones who claimed that the massacre was a false flag.

Bankrupt the hell out of him.

Were they really misused, though? They were made for killing people. They were used to kill people.

This is illogical.

You are saying that guns were/are made to kill people. They obviously can but there are many other functions.

Lol why the hell would you say that when there have been wars existing throughout the world in the first place? Stop acting cluelessly.

Nah, I say the politicians should be liable. They're the ones who give us the privilege to make cars and purchase alcohol, so it's their responsibility it's done safely.

For misuse of a car or alcohol product, a politician needs to be jailed.

In other words, trump should be jailed for letting pfizer scam the people with their own version of the so-called kung flu vaccine.

I have owned guns since I was 11 years old.
Everyone of them were tools for use of hunting.
Have taken some big game , and my favorite was a Merkel single shot mountain stalking gun.
Because my baby boomer generation was the last significant generation buying guns , manufactures had to fill a nitch.
That nitch was to 20-40 year olds , so they felt as if it was important to create guns that were inline to target shooting... ie- self defense as well.
They made billions of dollars in this market.
My shotguns as well as rifles if and when I need to buy them have to come thru special dealers. (it shows where the hunting industry has gone)

Gun manufactures IMO are not liable , but they are liable for creating guns that in WW2 would be considered sniper arson weaponry.
(why do we need 16 rounds to shoot at targets?)
In my dog club a discussion occurred about the AR15 and a guy said it was his favorite gun to hunt with. I asked him if he needed 16 rounds to kill an animal.
His argument was better to have then not to have.
I told him I needed a single shot to kill bear, mountain lion and desert mountain goat.
Point is if you practice on the range and be proficient with your tool , you don't need multiple rounds in the sport of hunting.
