Michael Jordan on Zone Defense. Current NBA reminded me of the 2001 to 2005 NBA Season. One of the reasons NBA players improved their 3 points shooting was because they introduced zone in 2001.

Ah okay, so he averaged nearly 23ppg as a 38 year old, in a league of non-inflated stats and without modern day PEDs.
His stats went down a bit from age 35 (where he over achieved) to 38
Gotcha

After a 3 year load management, Jordan at age 38 averaged 23 ppg on 41%.
With 0 load management, bron at 37 is averaging 29 ppg on 52%.
Puts in perspective the difference between the two.

It's not like he wasn't averaging 25 a game before his knee injury in the '01-'02 season.. or that he was 3 years removed from his last NBA season.. or that the early 2000s was literally the toughest defensive era in league history..
