so apparently the state took the parents kid away cause they were probably both in trouble with the law and the kid obviously wanted to be with its mom and dad so they took it from whomever was awarded custody and would hide her in a secret room under the stairs with her biological mom whenever people came to the house.


if the kids in good health then who cares if the parents are f*ck ups with their own lives. its their child ffs.. no signs of abuse. no rape. no bruises. no signs of trauma. probly really happy with her mom and dad regardless of their mistakes in life. what a shitty legal system

that's literally impossible. the kid was in "good health" .. if it was in there for months or years at a time then she would have atrophy and would have no bone density or muscle mass. her limbs would have shut down. the kid would have been almost in a catatonic state with that much abuse. why on earth would the police say she was fine if she was abused like you say. perfect health. no bruises or signs of trauma

These courts overthink things too much.

If a kid wants to be with the biological parents and the parent(s) want the child, that should be 95% of the criteria in determining if the child should be put with a nonbiological family or not. Barring serious abuse, let the parents have their damn kid. Lawyers, social workers and judges want to validate their position by playing god over people's lives.

They do drugs? So what. They want to put a dress on toddler boy? So what. They want to give their prepubescent girl male hormones? So what? They want to put their kid in a banana costume and make them sing Eminem's Rap God in the Walmart parking lot? So what.

It should be every Americans God given right to fvck up their kid as they see fit as long as there isn't any physical abuse and the child wants to remain with the parents. Hell even if the kid is slightly physically harmed, it's not the end of the world. I had a neighbor(1 mile away is a neighbor around here) lose her daughter because she was a meth head and would leave her daughter for days with her mom when she was out with her equally screwed up boyfriend. The girl's mom actually helped the biological father get custody of the child because he had a stable job, home and life. The courts recently gave the child back to the mom simply because daughter ran into a BBQ playing around and burnt her little arm(nothing major).
