RIght now we all can agree Bron is old.
He has maybe 2 years left , and probably is shooting for Kareem's all time scoring leader.
Will it happen ??

Lets look at 2021/22 season.
He might not make the playoffs cause the Lakers are just plan BAD.

It is possible he could finish his contract , but could we see him in a Warriors uniform , Suns uniform ,
or even a Bulls or Bucks uniform ?
What about the Heat ?

He obviously would like to finish his career with another title.

I say he will finish his contract out with the Lakers , but I would not put it past him to join another team for a season and possibly 2 if it gets him 1-2 more titles.

Lets be fair - the Lakers are NOT in a good place.

He'll go to whatever team his son is signed to. Lebron's contract ends after the 2023 season and his son is eligible for the NBA draft in 2024.

LeBron should have done the player option for the last year. When Wade's body disintegrated LeBron got the hell out of dodge. I think the writing is on the wall for AD. The marriage is over in 2023.

I think Bron is making 1 more stop to a contender on a minimum or exception. He probably wants 1 more championship.

I wouldn't put it past him to join the Warriors with all that shooting around him. At 39 he will turn into a roll player type facilitator.

His son is going to be drafted to whatever team LeBron goes to. His son is not good enough to be a high lottery pick, and there will be a back room deal to get Bron's son to whatever team Bron joins in 2024.

I think 2024 may be Bron's last year.
2025 will be the last if Bron wins a chip in 2024.

His PPG is 29.1 that's top five in his career, Miami looks like the best spot for him if he takes a mid-level contract. I don't see him retiring at 40, I think he both loves the game and he wants as many records and rings as possible. If he wins with Bronny Jr he might retire but when we look at players like Lebron we see what the decline is..

Lebron's number don't really justify a decline so he's got at least 3 seasons and as many as 7. He might decide to move over to C or PG to extend his career but I believe he's shooting for 25 seasons. He's going to break Kareem's record I think he's going to shoot for Stockton's assist's and 6-7 rings.

As a UFA after the 22/23 season he will be 39.
He is already slow and injury prone.
I highly doubt he will play after his 40th birthday.

No way is LeBron retiring anytime soon. He's putting up one of his best scoring seasons ever; I'd expect him to keep playing for at least another 7 years.

As a top 10 NBA player, no.

But he could still transition into a small point forward that plays 25 mins a game and averages 17/8/5 (rebounds)

8ball he is already a SF point-forward.
He can't play 4 or 5 , because players will back him down , and he will not have a chance.
Bron's era was score with no defense.
Now defense is starting to take over the NBA.
He has always operated in the open court , and that means his legs have taken a toll.
At 40 he will break down like tinsel glass.

Go back in history and look at how many players in the HISTORY of the league played after age 40.
I will have an argument for each of them.

He has 1yr to kill until his son is drafted. I won't be surprised if he takes the full MLE for that 1yr with a championship contender in an attempt to get a chip.

I hope he can help the Lakers get something through an outgoing s&t. Perhaps 2 1st rounders or something. I think that is the least he could do as his last move as a Laker.

I haven't watched him play for the Lakers much, but he doesn't seem like much of a positive anymore, despite his stats.

Miss the playoffs twice in 3 years. Part of that is trying to be the GM.

Heat would probably be a good spot, go back to playing PF and back down game more. Good defenders. Go be like 20-10-10 instead of trying to score.

He'll be between a rock and a hard place.

1 part of him wants to play with his son

But the second part knows he needs to be surrounded by already established talent...and in normal cases, he would ship his son off for a ready now piece.

What a conundrum

Here's the question. When he teams up with his son, and they completely suck, who gets the blame? Will the Bronies blame Bronny?

Nah. They'll blame Bronny's mom for her half of the inferior nba genes.

Will they blame Bronny's mom for the poor genes though, or will they blame Delonte West?

God I can’t wait until he’s gone. Just to stop seeing him on every sports center and espn post. And every thread here. Though I know the pajama boys will still post about him constantly. So many other talents to talk about

He should retire. The older he gets, the more he will resort to LeWarRoom colluding. It has to stop.

He has an ugly game. Not exactly fun to watch and he just comes up with a bunch of cringe sht on and off the game.

Exactly

The manufactured hype is just painful...everyone has had enough....except his weird little fans

We all see him for what he actually is
