I feel like LeBron, even 19 years into his career, has always been insanely inconsistent when it comes to his approach at the end of games. You have examples like this where he's fully engaged, aggressive, not at all afraid of the moment, wants the ball in his hands. Then you have times where he is inexplicably passive or timid, playing hot potato, settling for jump shots. Imo it's always been his biggest flaw and weakness as a player, he'll be passive to the detriment of the team.

Lol. The hyperbole never ends.
Klay Thompson just had a better 4th quarter than that against the Lakers a few games ago.

Incidentally they had almost identical 4th quarters.
15 and 16 points respectively, both on 6/10 shooting.
LeBron also had 2 assists though and a much better +/-.
But LeBron was actually shot creating and staring dudes down lol...
Klay was super hot but just catch and shooting off bricks.
Its not comparable really.

He had a better +/- because his teammates scored a lot more than Klay's did.

His mediocre FT shooting is why he's been a shaky crunch time scorer IMO. You could tell in his prime when he'd be afraid to attack the basket because he'd get fouled and be forced to make 2/2 FTs. He just doesn't have as deep of a bag as a scorer to be as lethal of a closer like Kobe or KD, who could do it on all 3 levels on a consistent basis.

He wasn't when both were in their primes, playing in the same era.. even a 11-13 Kobe was a better closer.
Lebron right now is averaging 2.9 ppg on 39/32/73 splits in crunch time (last 5 minutes, score within 5) this season.
2016 Kobe averaged 2.8 ppg on 35/42/91 splits in crunch time.
So even a washed up Kobe was a more reliable shooter when it mattered.
How about crunch time scoring in 2013, peak Bran vs. 17th season Kobe?
Kobe - 3.5 ppg 42/37/84 splits
Bran - 2.7 ppg 43/29/76 splits

You're picking random seasons of Kobe vs. random seasons of Bron lol.
LeBron right now is in his 18th season.
Can you check Kobe 2000-13 and Bron 05-18?

It's very much a Jekyll and Hyde situation.
On some nights we get Mr. 4th Quarter
On other nights we get Mr. 4 Inches :(

THis was LEBron's, what, 15th Game with an ULTRA clutch 4th quarter perfOrmAnce of ThE Season?
In his 19Th season.
At the age of 37.
With more mileage than any player in the league by a gargantuan margin.

I've already shown evidence of all the compiled data based on Playoffs clutch performance multiple times & if that did not convince you then it's not worth my time going over anything else on this matter. It's beyond facts with delusional haters like you so you're not worth my time. Peace.
