U.S
900,000 cases a day around 14 Jan
What caused the rise? Why wasn't Biden blamed like Trump was?
Down to about 90,000 cases now. Why the reduction? What changed?
As for deaths, look at the chart to see how many more under Biden than Trump but I am not seeing any questions or criticism about Biden mishandling the pandemic...

Bro, it's time to move on from playing 'gotcha!' with a bunch of people you KNOW are idiot plebs.
They're going to remain plebs. It's how theyre wired. They're going to go wherever their party goes, it's how they're wired. They're going to follow, and no attempt at logical appeal will have them straying from their partisan safety net into the uncertain territory of autonomous rational thought. They aren't wired to do that. It's genetic reality.
It's time to live YOUR life and make moves for YOUR future. Every situation is an opportunity. At this point we know who the NPC's are, what moves them, what they react to, and what isn't going to change about them. We don't have the resources to dictate society, but we can at least read the tea leaves and start using it to our advantage.
Stop wasting your time trying to turn wooden puppets into real boys.
Accept what it is, and improve your position based on these realities. That's what all the people at the top are doing. It's the only thing you CAN do in life. You're never gonna turn the public into what you want them to be. Instead use that energy to make YOURSELF into whatever YOU want to be. The possibilities are limitless tbh.
Get in a network with people ready to do that.

despite the fact that there's a major war going on right now...
it's because the mass media is a business, they're not truth seekers. war sells better than a lingering pandemic.

The science didn't change; the politics did.
People are tired of it and the Dems are getting killed in the polls. If the Dems somehow manage to hold on to Congress, it wont be the least bit surprising to see the covid fear porn ramp up again.

The science changed once delta went out and in came Omicron. Omicron spreads fast, but the symptoms are much more manageable relative to previous variants.

Ah, so to answer OP's questions,
-Biden wasn't blamed like Trump for US Covid deaths recently reaching the highest 7-day average since Feb 2021
and
-daily cases have dramatically declined over 95% since six weeks ago
...because Omicron spreads fast?
And if Delta was still the dominant variant, we'd be seeing the same sort of headlines regarding Covid-19, and NPIs should still be in full effect, because... why exactly?
Latest CDC model (albeit outdated) puts as at an estimated 315,000,000 infections so far in the US... cumulatively, how many infections have the NPIs prevented so far? If unknown, feel free to estimate.

Omicron, the weak variant, is vanishing. Cases and deaths dropping. Restrictions being lifted around the world.
And war has broke out.
It's really not hard to grasp.
I have read more than one theorize that Putin was waiting for covid to clear up before his attack.

The OP asked why Biden wasn't blamed and why cases are dropping.
Your answer is because restrictions are being lifted and a war has broken out?
:lol

yes, thank you for calling out the lunacy of the double standards of some people who refuse to see the huge problems looming for humanity. It's like living in idiocracy the movie...

He asked why the left isn't talking about covid "in the US as much anymore" :oldlol: the thread title
That is what I answered
Again, not hard to grasp, and something tells me you understood just fine.

Fair enough - he had multiple questions. I think the heart of what OP was asking was in the writing of his post:

to be fair, we were only in the infancy of the vaccination process in april/may of 2021. with that being said, the democrats completely dropped the ball on officially ending covid. if i had it my way, i would have declared it over three months into mass vaccinations.
in fact, if i were to have had things completely my way, we would have implemented a policy platform based on the great barrington declaration as far back as summer/fall 2020... focused protection/open country.

Oh dont worry. Once the Russia thing is sorted out it'll be back to covid mania. Maybe after midterms at the latest. They're not done with covid yet.

I guess Democrats took a look at their polling numbers.
