Which is pretty shitty and showed Jordan had terrible longevity

How would you see 19th season LeBron in Jordans position? Surely 19th season LeBron averages at least 30/10/7 on a respectable 50% shooting that series

But Jordan already devolved into an inefficient chucker by then. In fact, Jordan NEVER shot above 50% FG from the field past his 11th season, and that was with shooting exclusively 2 pointers! :biggums:

Look kids, another stat-monkey. How come Lebron has all these wonderful stats this season yet isn't in the MVP conversation? One day you'll figure it out.

Once Lebron hit 30, he never won an MVP or made an All-NBA Defensive team. Weird isn't it?

While in season 11 Jordan won MVP, led the league in scoring, and was 1st-Team All-Defensive while winning FMVP. Also weird isn't it stat-monkey?

* 26 on 35% in Year 5 (2008 ECSF)

* 22 on 35% in Year 4 (07' Finals)

* 17 ppg in Year 9 (11' Finals)

* 22 ppg in Year 12 (14' ECF)... controlled & contained by PG13, so an equal-scoring partner was required (Wade averaged 20/5/5, aka prime pippen or Iggy performance)

I've always felt LeBron was the better player when both of them were in their 30's.

And that's how you know Jordan is the GOAT. When his haters try to disparage him, all they can point to is a finals series that he not only WON, but got FMVP. :roll:

Lebron only knows how to play 1 way (big man ball-dominance), so he ties the coach's hands and forces them to implement a beginner format with the big man dominating the ball and 4 shooters around him.

Otoh, Jordan's on-ball/off-ball game and elite jumpshooting skill allowed coaches to implement any strategy they want and use him in more ways (assist distributor and assist target/off-ball.. and post).

So Lebron was never anywhere near Jordan because he plays an inferior way offensively that limits coaches, teams and teammates, while Jordan is the exact opposite, while also being the superior defender.

Not to take away from the MJ points but LeBron's injuries have kind of prevented him from winning. He's usually in the conversation though. I remember him doing his usual ramp up before the ankle injury, he convincingly destroyed Giannis and Kawhi in back to back games if I remember correctly. Dude was on a warpath. Didn't pan out though obviously.

Unlike Jordan's 27 on 42%, Lebron's 23 on 43% was insufficient thru 6 games of the 13' Finals and needed Ray Allen to force Game 7.

Lebron averaged 16 on 39% thru 3 games of the 13' Finals, while teammates staved off an 0-3 deficit.. Overall, Lebron had a zero plus/minus and negative net rating for the series, so the Heat didn't win with Lebron on the floor.. Imagine getting a FMVP when your team didn't win when you were on the floor.

LeBron was 25/11/7 on 45%

Which is better than Jordan's 27/5/4 on 41%

That wasn't the question.

The question was how was Lebron's defense once he hit 30?

LeBron was 25/11/7 on 45% thru 7 games

^^^ Exactly - Lebron needed 7 games for that

Unlike Jordan's 27 on 42%, Lebron's 23 on 43% was insufficient thru 6 games and needed Ray Allen to force Game 7.

Lebron actually averaged 16 on 39% thru 3 games while teammates staved off an 0-3 deficit.. Overall, Lebron had a zero plus/minus and negative net rating for the series, so the Heat didn't win with Lebron on the floor.. Imagine getting a FMVP when your team didn't win when you were on the floor.

2nd Three-peat Jordan won 2 MVP's, won 3 FMVP's, made 3 All-NBA 1st-Team Defensive teams, was 1st Team All-NBA 3x, and had 3 scoring titles...yet he was overrated, all at the ages of 33-35.

Lebron on the other hand has ZERO MVP's, ZERO All-Defensive teams, ZERO scoring titles in his 30's.

Who's over-rated?
