He almost never gets doubled. This has been the case for awhile now. Mj or kobe would drop 40 or 50 consistently if teams didn't double team them consistently. Why dosn't bron?

LeBron gets doubled and tripled in the lane while driving.
You sure you've watched his games??

Aside from he's a good passer, he doesn't pose much of a scoring threat outside of 3 feet.

Everyone gets collapsed on when they drive to the paint. You actually thought that was a double team That's not the same thing as being doubled on the perimeter or in the post like mj and kobe constantly faced. Bron almost never faces doubles. Why dosn't he make them pay?

Not at all dude. That dosn't address the question. I know why teams don't double him. The question is why dosn't he make teams pay for gaurding him single coverage?

Teams meet penetrators at the rim with multiple defenders and therefore only need to overtly double-team on the perimeter against hot jumpshooters.
Unfortunately, Lebron avoids contested jumpers and lacks elite jumpshooting skill get hot routinely and make opposing coaches call timeout every game like Kobe or MJ did.. He simply isn't a lethal enough scorer to merit jeopardizing the defense by double-teaming - the fact that he doesn't take advantage of single coverage confirms that he isn't worth doubling

Because he's not an elite 1 v 1 scorer, simple as that

I can't believe a guy who's forum handle is bronbron23weareallwitnesses doesn't know why teams don't double Lebron on the perimeter.

I can't believe you can't read and understand basic questions. I know why teams don't double him. That wasn't the question dummy. The question was why dosn't he make them pay like kobe or mj would have?

Because Lebron has always been limited offensively. Off the dribble all he can do is go to the basket. If he could have ever developed a pull up jumper off the dribble he would have been unstoppable and could be using it in his later years.

Yeah, compared to other perimeter greats, his moveset is kinda limited. Don't get me wrong, he's still pretty good at what he does with his stiff arming, shoulder charge and no call travels. When was the last time he shook his defender without a screen consistently?
