All looks good on the boxscore but no winning. How did he go from winning to empty stats even though the boxscore looks the same? This is not the worst team hes ever been on, his early Cleveland squads were worse and he had a much better effort. Is it lack of defense?

Empty stats implies they just don't equate to winning. Lebron's impact is conducive to his team losing.

There has been a number of games now where he still stays on the floor even if you could just sat it out, for stats.

Every basketball possession has a different level of importance depending on what the score is, who's on a run, and how much time's left in the game.

A stop or score when you're down, when the other team's on a run, and when there's less time left = highest value
A stop or score when you're up, when you're already on a run, when there's lots of time left = lowest value
any combination of the above => somewhere in the middle.

Lebron used to be able to consistently score and stop players in the high value situations. Now he can't, because he doesn't have the energy to produce maximum performance at will, he has to conserve his energy.

Can't score when the teams down by 5 or 10 to get them back in it...

But I'm not a hater. I recognize LeBron's greatness historically.

For example, Steph was able to do this last year. This year, he can't.

A big part is he doesn't play D

And have you seen LeCentre?
Never seen guys get easier baskets on a defender

His style of offense is horrid too.....team killing

Too bad Lebron never learned the best chemistry and brand of ball in the league, as required to win organically.

Because he could really use superior brand to get by right now..

Even teams that are more injured like the Clippers and Pelicans are surviving by playing a better brand of ball, which confirms how horrific the Lakers' brand must be..

Indeed - big man ball-dominance - the most suboptimal way to play... Ever.. it yields perennial underdogs with super-teams and barely meets that underdog expectation (4/10)

But he was never really a winner - he failed to win the East with homecourt in 09/10 and then turned the preseason favorite into Finals underdog for 6 straight years (11-16'), and now is lottery out West without AD

He’s been empty stats since 2018.

His last meaningful dominant season where he could take a team to the playoffs as a superstar.

And that was partly due to playing in the weakest conference ever, that suffered catastrophic injuries to the conferences best teams (IE Boston and Kyrie) but also championship chemistry, Gilbert sparing no expense on roster moves at the request of LeGM. Roster warts and all … were all LeBron’s doing. But not to try to win. But provide just enough overwhelming talent to get deep in the playoffs but allow him to selfishly play his ball dominant, no defense playing game that blurs casuals and dumb Gen Z-ers / LeBeta Stans into convincing themselves he’s the best player in the league, and/or in their delusion, of all time.

He hasn’t played winning basketball in quite sometime. Empty stats his first season in LA. Quit on his young core that he should’ve groomed into winners given their talent level, like CP3 has done the past few years in Phoenix. Whined and bitched and moaned to the point he purposely sat out most of the season when things weren’t going his way. Pretending to be injured. When he did play was lazy af and had to literally be pushed by young guys to even play defense or close out on shooters.

Was so frustrating with his manipulation and getting a guy like Luke Walton fired prematurely and getting his young core traded that he forced the all time greatest Laker to quit his position within the organization.

Was re-energized when he used his sports agency to manipulate AD to the Lakers. Who quickly showed he was the Lakers actual best player by that point. Being the best player on both ends all season for the Lakers, while LeBron got the publicity buzz for MVP, and was their best player through out the playoffs and Finals. AD was probably very much disenchanted with this.

Next season? First round exit after being up in the series once AD went down. Rolled over and quit to a Suns teams that didn’t even have their best player.

Boasts about doubting the Lakers due to age this past off season. Campaigns for the Westbrick trade even though it’s a bad fit but even more raw talent on the Lakers. Underperforms, does his same passive aggressive pouting and by super bowl weekend has visibly checked out. Next weekend during ASG is basically sending his similar smoke signals that he’s on the way out.

The guy is talented. Top five ever. But he’s also a competitive coward. A front runner. A bully. But also per his potential, a loser. He’s franchise cancer.

so much hate in this post. I will agree to disagree sir. but you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. I will pray for your family and I wish you good health and prosperity
How was any of this hate? This is what happened.

I didn’t even mention more appalling issues from LeBron during this tenure. Like hinting he wanted to have Cleveland trade the guy who averaged 27 ppg in the Finals and hit the clutch shot that gave him his Cleveland Chip. Either for his boy CP3 (wouldn’t have been a fit) or for Paul George.

Said player gets wind of it and ends another potential more competitive 2018 Finals early by forcing his way out after seeing the writing on the wall. Trying to get him traded while already planning for his move to LA via free agency.

His manipulations have constantly back fired on him. He’s dumb.

Kenny isn't being serious lol. That post is practically jack-off material with how anti-Lebron it is.
