Can’t wait for Sixers to play some legitimate teams now that we got Harden. Can’t really gauge much with wolves and knicks

Deandre Jordan is probably gonna end up a Sixer. He’s no Drummond but a big body to spell Embiid.

Does Tobias Harris look out of place now with Harden? Seems to be more of a spot up player now which isn’t his thing.

Wonder if sixers add another player (outside of big) or this roster is it?

I’m still skeptical of Doc Rivers coaching in the playoffs.

Would it be better for Harris to come off the bench? He can create his own shot which has more value off the bench. I would guess that is why Miami has Herro in a bench role.

Sixers might offload Tobias' contract to OKC in the offseason. What do you guys think? It gives Philly a lot of flexibility. They'd be better off using that salary on some great high-tier roleplaying pieces that fit Embiid and Harden.

OKC would be willing to take him on in exchange for some draft picks. LA could then trade Westbrook + 1st rounder for Tobias, which would give OKC around 3-4 picks, while only taking on Russell's expiring contract for next season.

Jordan fits well with Harden as a lob threat when Joel is on the bench. Joel himself isn't a huge lob threat although he has stated recently he wants to improve that part of his game to work with Harden now.

Tobias shooting more threes is a great thing. Slow ass backdowns into mid range jumpers just ain't gonna cut it anymore. I'm quite happy with what he has done so far since the trade. Sure his ppg are down but his outside shooting is up and the whole team offense looks great.

If they can get off his contract it would be awesome but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Sixers are my favorite in the east but if they expect anything but bad minutes from deandre, they're not going to be happy

Does Embiid normally guard Giannis?

That seems like a bad idea and who else do they have to guard him?

The reality is that their roster has ZERO BANGERS.. Not a single PF-size banger that can get you 7 rebs.. Seems like a problem

Nonetheless, it will look impressive if they walk through Cleveland tomorrow night.. Maybe a juggernaut is inevitable if an all-time guard teams up with an all-time big - perhaps they can wear out teams

We have no hope in guarding Giannis. He kills us almost everytime but they have no hope in guarding big wiggle so they cancel each other out...They both go for 30+ each game. They have no one to cancel out Harden tho so we will win if we run into them this year.

Its like how when draymond went and cried in the parking lot and called KD to plead with him to join the gsw so they could beat lebron. KD cancelled out LeBron Steph cancelled out Kyrie and dray + klay are > than Love + JR so the warriors destroyed the cavs specially after Kyrie left....

Or how pippen fell to his knees and begged Rodman for forgivness so he would join the bulls. Jordan cancelled out Shaq, Pippen + harper cancelled out penny, rodman kukoc kerr & phil jackson > grant d-scott nick anderson(slump) so the bulls won the series

yes harden is clearly better but this is a bit disrespectful to jrue/khris who are both better than maxey

They're like the 4th best team in the East

Playoff fodder. Per usual.

I always thought Tobi was always out of place. A scorer who wasn't elite but thought he was. Barros, Thad, dare I say Hawkins. I hate the ball in his hands
Having said that Lillard, Harden, Beal, and even a lower level Fox. That's a legit closer. Harden is the ultimate closer. Embiid carries the load. Harden seals the win. We're winning

I think he still tries to create although more panicky with less touches.
Off the bench is a great idea...but leaves a big hole at the second forward position. Wish a Jon Collins or Jonathan Isaac types was available....or Collins/Isaac themselves.

If they would have kept Curry and Drummond I would pick them to win the whole thing.

Send him to the Bucks , we know how to use him....
Saw the game the other night and Haden is really woking with Joel E. and Maxey.
That is their top three for sure.
Still think a semi finals is top for them in the east.

They could look far better than the Nets hahahahaha

what happened to Shake Milton btw?

He looked pretty legit when he started in place of Simmons last year iirc

He hasn't played much this year due to injuries.

He hurt his ankle in camp that set him back, got covid then had a relatively debilitating back injury.

He has only just comeback since Harden has arrived. He has looked ok at times so far. Korkmaz has had a bad year and now Shake is back he looks like replacing him in the rotation for the end of the season.

If he can find some of the form he had going back in early 2021 he could be a difference maker in the second unit come playoffs.

Like I said, they should have never given up S. Curry on top.

Killed them.

Bruh I was such a big fan of the 76ers there for a while when they had hope. They're a better team right now but they have significantly less hope.

Hinkie was going to lead them to multiple titles, in all probability.

Instead, after this year when it becomes abundantly clear they won't win the title, they are going to be stuck on the mediocrity treadmill in perpetuity until Joel is no longer Joel at which point they will go back to being bad.

RIP Hinkie.
