Him and Pope are better and always have been better than anything (Westbrook Tucker) Lakers have right now…
If Lakers would of kept caruso,Pope and kuz(as much of a bonehead he can be) they’d be atleast 10 games better off than they are now

They’re young and can actually last an entire game. The Lakers need young energy

beal's been out since jan. kuzma can score around 20 ppg if he's a 1st/2nd option. so can 80% of the players in the nba.

Kuzma would be better for the Lakers but isn't a better overall player than Westbrook. Westbrook is like Iverson in that he can't be a roleplayer. If the ball isn't in his hands he is basically a negative at this point and whether it's his fault or his coaches over the years he can't seem to figure out how to help his team. So he is playing awful as the only thing James point guard needs to do is hit threes and that's the one thing Westbrook can't do.
But if you put him on a team without any stars he can carry them to a competitive point total most nights. He's a slightly inefficient offense just all by himself. You can't win a championship featuring him like that but you could win 45 games if you defend hard. Kuzma fits better into a good team couldn't carry you like that.

Westbrook has been pretty woefully miscast in an off-ball role, Kuzma has filled it up to the accord of 18ppg on a losing team before but he’s never gonna get the ball that much on a team that wins games.

Not alongside big man ball-dominance like Lebron - not when his frontcourt mate is actually a PG-style ball-dominator - no forward could thrive alongside that unless you're good enough to make Lebron the lower-scoring "pippen" like AD did
But now that Kuzma has some time away from LeCrater-ball, he's getting back on the loftier trajectory that he was on before Lebron arrived in LA

Wizards are 28 - 30 with Kuz and he's won them at least a dozen close games on both ends of the court. WB can put up better raw averages but that's with all the negative stuff that comes with him dominating the ball as well. He's not leading a mediocre team to 45 wins at this point. He's nowhere near as good as he was in 2017, when he could actually make 3s and FTs and wasn't a complete liability in crunch time.
Kuz might make 1-2 All-Star games in his prime and that's great for a late 1st rounder, he's definitely exceeded my expectations this season.

Wizards are 28 - 30 when he plays and 0 - 3 without him, he's one of the 10 best crunch time scorers in the league this season.
