View Full Version : Whats the reasoning for not having a Lebron forum?

I've been here for a few months now and I have to say when you get past the Lebron/Jordan BS there might be something to this place. So what's the reasoning for not having sort of a haters' ball of sort and just move all the Lebron shit to it's own little island. Maybe ISH can grow and develop into a place that doesn't feel like a proportion of the sites users want to have Lebron in a well and put the lotion in the basket.

If you post often enough, you can get a couple legit responses almost regardless of what your thread was about.. aka you get to talk about what you want to talk about

Lebron James IS basketball. He’s the heart and soul of the league and the reason we all tune in.

Any Lebron forum will immediately monopolize all activity, excitement, enthusiasm for the game. There would be no point to posting about basketball anywhere else.

This place used to revolve around Kobe... and then LeBron came and the obsession with him and his career went to new highs.

Currently there is nobody in the pipeline to take their place.

ISH's discussion quality will probable rise substantially but the quantity of discussion and thus ad revenue and overall interest in the NBA is going to absolutely plummet.

I would wager that a good 75%+ of regular posters here pretty much only care about LeBron James one way or the other despite whatever bullshit they might try to convince you of to the contrary.
