They're too old. They play at a fast pace on offense but their legs can't really keep up with the younger/more athletic teams that can consistently outhustle/outrun them. AD can only do so much as 1 guy. It's like Gobert in Utah. You can have the best rim protector in the league but what does it matter when no one else plays defense. Good teams will pick you apart.
