Monk is better than every Clipper except Reggie Jackson.
but Jackson is able to elevate his game and his team whereas LeRoid brings everyone down.

But, LeMoooarrrrHallpp!
He even elevated detroit a couple years back in the playoffs against the cavs. They got swept but he kept all the games close

Reggie jackson is the most talented tradable player in the League.
He's jim jackson Tier along with julius Randle. Certain years you're rolling the die they match their potential...usually around contact year.

don't over rate Reggie just to save face for LeRoid.
Reggie's ok, but he's no star. he's not dancing and clowning anyone in the league except for a LeRoid led team.

Nah, the Lakers don't have any players that are better than the Clippers apart from LeBron and AD

I was telling people here since he signed for the Clips that he was an absolute stud.
Rrr3 most notably tried to make fun of it.

Team-hoppers gut teams and make them start over - heck, the 11' Cavs lost their whole starting 5, not just Lebron, while the 19' Cavs faced a similar situation.
But the reality is that Lebron isn't coachable anyway - he ties the coach's hands and forces them to play 1 way - a beginner format with 1 guy dominating the ball and 4 shooters - this is a low ball movement and low team assist brand that gets destroyed by better brands of ball movement
So Lebron is a very limited player despite his higher defensive rebounds and ball-dominant assists (a small slice of the basketball pie)
Otoh, Jordan gave coaches ultimate freedom to run any strategy they want, including high ball movement and high assist brand.. His on-ball and off-ball game fit with everyone and allowed the best brand of ball, so he won more with less.
This matters because learning the best brand and chemistry in the league is required of all organic winners, so Lebron never learned superior brand (how to win) and only learned talent-based winning (team-hopping.. all-star team strategy).
So in this scenario Lue and Phil are equal?
Aside from the season when they were defending 3-peat champs, Phil did quite poorly without his 1st options in 95' or 05', while Lue is thriving without his 1st and 2nd options...
So advantage Lue
The reality is that no one had ever heard of the offense until MJ won with it.. Phil has no rings without MJ or his clone Kobe.
The key to the triangle was it's lack of PG role (no ball-dominance) - this became an issue when a sheer iso was needed (which happens often in basketball) - the iso couldn't be ball-dominant, which is why MJ/Kobe were the only guys that could win with that offense... Otoh, today's ball-dominators cringe and throw up in their mouth a little when the triangle is mentioned as a possible offense - they lack the skills to make it work (off-ball, post, elite jumpshooting skill, off-screens).

Yo I watched that game the other night and Reggie was disrespecting LeBron lmao. After J'ing them all game long and setting career highs he stripped LeBron in the 4th quarter and was talking mad shit. :oldlol: I can't imagine what a Bird or Jordan or Kobe would do to this dude if he did that. But generally guys knew not to test a real alpha.
