There is no single sentiment, it's not possible in country with 140 mil people.
Some wants it to be over, some support this. Most of my friends hate the effect on economy, but not in the panic mode, cuz at our age we mostly have houses, cars, whatever we need, and we would be able to put food on our table no matter what.
Some of my friends are in full support. They didn't like Ukraine revolution that USA intelligence staged in 2014 and most of all, they hate that Ukraine nationalistic forces bombed Donbass for 8 years and nobody in the West made a peep, and now, all of a sudden, when we retaliate, all hell breaks loose and we got all sorts of sanctions. People are enraged for death of civilians, when they turned the blind eye on deaths of Donbass civilians for years.

Government really cracked down on western propaganda and turned it's own propaganda in full force. I can speak three languages so I consume both types of propaganda and make my own conclusions. But not me not anybody knows what the hell real objectives are. We hope there is a plan, but realistically, who the hell knows. According to media, destruction of each and every one of Ukraine nationalists and protection of Donbass. Might be true, but does any government tells it's people all the truth? I doubt it.

Some are real though. Facebook decided it's OK now to call for deaths of Russian people on their platform, and they wont ban such people in eastern Europe. In one day Facebook and Instagram got banned here, we don't have them any more. Maybe through VPN, but since I didn't use those, I don't really know and don't care. So I guess some "influencers" out of the job now.

The fact that your evil empire has the economic resources conducive to creating the greatest basketball league does not make it exclusively american. Thank you for the detailed answer. Thankfully, Russia is self sufficent in the necessities of life like food and energy and I wouldn't expect those prices to go up. The ruble has deppreciated strongly against the dollar, about 50%, which will result in price increases for imported goods. Remains to be seen at what level will it stabilize, only today it moved from 1$=130 rubles to 1$=110 rubles and back to 1$=120 rubles.

I can't wait for the power of siberia 2 to be built allowing Russia the ability to cut the EU off the gas and switch to supplying China. These stupid american vassals deserve to suffer.
