View Full Version : Does Lebron really make his teammates better?

The mantra was always Lebron makes his teammates better but at the same time, "Lebron needs more help.'' We've heard that one before, many times.
But does he really make his teammates around him better or is it just that in the past some players fit his system and made him look better?
A lot of these things that the media has been feeding us all these years are exaggerated. If Lebron really makes everyone better, how come there has been so many lackluster seasons, despite him playing with so many stars?
Is he making Westbrook better? Once again, the blame goes to someone else. It's never Lebron. He always needs more help, right? If you think about it, outside of the bubble championship, the Lakers have been pretty mediocre in Lebron's tenure.
When you look at his championship run with the Cavs, why were they not a good team for the most part? Why weren't they winning 70 games? They were winning like 50-55 games in a pretty weak conference. Plus the next year he couldn't even win 2 games against Durant. I thought he made all his stars and role players around him better. Why is this not discussed? I thought he made everyone around him like 10 times better. I don't see it. This is pure exaggeration that has been forced down our throats.
I don't care if he went to 10 championships. He has 6 losses. He's supposed to make the players around him better.
He has good basketball IQ, good athleticism and knowns how to conserve energy by not playing defense. And he has good longevity and high statistics. But if you tell me that this is the most efficient way to win, you are highly mistaken.

AD played the best ball of his career with LeBron, you even have people on here claiming he reached Kareem/Shaq/Hakeem level. Same with Kyrie, he had the best series of his career with LeBron and completely destroyed Curry h2h.

Lol absolutely not....quite the opposite, especially at the moment.
Bucks and Grizz games come to mind - in particular, where they basically went down 30 and crawled right back into single digits once LeBarry benched himself and gave up.
It's clear that without AD, he is a lottery team, even though he has a triple double machine by his side.
Everyone else has made the playoffs with Westbrook...
Bron has proven he isn't making the playoffs at the Lakers without AD, on the other hand.
With all the talent LeBarry has played with in his career, as well as all the top tier help in its prime, its actually so embarrassing he has the finals record he has.
He plays team killing ball, holds it too long and plays hot potato.
Team killer and horrible leader off court.
Also 10/10 anti-clutch.
Sacrificed finals wins to pad his own stats...same thing he's doing this reg season...then goes missing in the 4th nearly every time.
Never been a more selfish and manufactured, overrated player.

If it wasn't for LeBron, both AD & Kyrie would be perceived as empty stats losers right now.

And if Lebron didn't have those guys he wouldn't have won those rings either so what's your point? Kyrie and AD both have had better seasons without Lebron, just like Bosh, Wade, Westbrook & Love.

Both Kyrie and AD peaked WITH LeBron. Deal with it.

There's a reason "No LeBron, No Difference" is one of the hottest phrases with today's youth in 2022
Op still having nightmares from the 2021 play-in tournament aka losers bracket, with stephen curry failing to block kong lebron's clutch three right in front of his face during the last minutes of the lakers-warriors elimination matchup. :(

You can't go anywhere right now without hearing people talking about "No Lebron, no difference."

No he does not. He's like a virus, he destroys everywhere he goes and then moves on. He destroyed Love, Bosh, AD, and Westbrook. He's not known as LeCancer for nothing.

Does it also have to to with them reaching their peak years maybe?
