Tried to find the best consecutive stretch of playoff runs for each great PF. It's a little arbitrary, as I tried to keep it between 70-100 games. This kept it a bit fairer for KG, who was a perennial first-round exit in his prime.

Guys like Duncan and Dirk could've easily had theirs extended a few more years. With Duncan, we could've gone all the way to 1998. For Dirk, it could've gone to 2003.

The sample size is obviously smaller for AD and Giannis.

Usage rate is included; this helps standardize the stat lines for the roles played. It's defined as "an estimate of the percentage of team plays used by a player while they were on the floor."

As far as performances as a 2nd option in the playoffs, I would put McHale's '86 performance as one of the best just behind '01 Kobe & '17 Curry.

Good comparisons. Not many players in NBA history could put up 25-26 PPG primarily in the halfcourt, off the ball as effectively and efficiently within a team offense. All the while, playing elite defense, protecting the rim, locking up explosive SFs, and battling bruising PFs and Cs.

The ability to be able to scale down your game and play off the ball is so valuable. Many top players would find it hard to impact a game without getting their touches and shots.

How did Pau Gasol not make the list but Mchale did?

At least Pau can say he was a 18\11 or 19\11 guy for both rings.

Mchale won rings averaging 8 points or 15\6

16 Irving outplayed the MVP and hit the biggest shot of game 7

Here's Pau's best stretch:

Pau Gasol

'04-'10 Playoffs (79 games played)

- 18.5 PPG // 9.8 RPG // 3.2 APG // 0.6 SPG // 1.9 BPG // 2.0 TOPG on 53.9% eFG, 73.1% FT [58.6% TS]
- 21.0% USAGE RATE

Not bad. Really efficient. Scores well and keeps the turnovers low. Blocks shots.

I was thinking about Pau as all time top 10 pf. He did not make the top 75 all time nba players though?

It's got to be Duncan and McHale at the top, followed by Dirk and KG.

Anthony Davis has a GOAT level stat line. Just think where he could have gone had he not been so fragile.
