I know Draymond is out but they seem to have completely come off the rails since two things happened... Klay coming back and Steph hitting the 3 point all time record.
It's like they're an entirely different team from 4 months ago.

Great question OP.
Several things:
1.) Curry is being cucked by Ayesha. The team's leader has not been focused due to marital issues.
2.) Dray is out. He is the engine of the team. Despite Curry being the offensive leader, Dray runs the defense and gets everyone engaged as he is the vocal leader of the team. He is the orchestra director so to speak. A true alpha.
3.) Klay is playing frustrated, he doesn't seem to have found his rhythm yet. Once he does, I expect more wins from the team as he can cover Curry's deficiencies on offense.
4.) Kerr seems to be struggling with lineups. They have some good young talent they are trying to develop but they seem to struggle finding the balance between the young talent and inserting players like Klay.

Dray really is the bedrock of the team. Curry and Klay are important, no doubt, but Dray enables all the pieces to fall into place.

So you are saying they would do better with Dray and without Curry?

They havnt been quite the same since Draymond went down, he is their anchor on defense and point guard pretty much.
Their moving screens awfully suck without their donkey playing on the floor.

it's not just draymond. wiggins has been slumping since the all star break. he put up 14 on 50% ts in february, pretty awful. Poole just hasnt been as good since klay came back and teams have figured him out. his numbers are close to wiggins in february. 14ppg on awful efficiency. Klay's been fine but obviously not what he used to be.

People keep giving the surface level answer of Draymond and he undoubtedly makes a different but their mojo just seems to be gone... it's like Wiggins and Poole both took a hit when Klay came back, tbh. I'm fairly certain that's their biggest problem. Of course, that is just speculative, as I have not watched a single game, LMAO.

i have not watched much either. Kind of just going off what warriors fans have said lol. could just be an unfortunate slump too. Wiggins 40% from the ft line in february cant be explained by klay haha

Just curious, what’s the Curry and Ayesha issue?

It absolutely can. Psychological factors are extremely real things when we're talking about team dynamics.
Maybe Wiggins feels less important with Klay back. Same for Poole who was sent to the bench. It's impossible for us to know.

It's a good question. I'll say maybe...Not to take away from Curry, but the Warriors have other players who can take up the slack if Curry were gone. Klay, Poole, etc. When Dray is out, there's a gaping hole.

I think they are saying Ayesha is jealous of her husband's success.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

They had a 9 game win streak from Jan 21st - Feb 7th so I don't think it's Draymond.
The trend I notice is when Klay shoots badly, they tend to lose. 8-1 when Klay shoots above 40 FG% and 2-8 when Klay shoots below 40 FG%.

Klay's been inconsistent on both ends tbh. Poole might be better but he's not going to get the nod over Klay. Also, All-Star Starter Wiggins has played like straight up trash - 13.9 ppg on 41/37/39 splits since the start of February. Yes, he's shooting 39% from the FT line and has only attempted 23 FTs in this 12-game stretch.

Thats whats wrong klays been getting by on name alone. Bench his ass for poole. They should have never gave klay as big as a role when he came back. Btw i dont know why he was trippin about not being top 75 hes not even close

They want to be in the 3-4 spot not the 1-2 and risk playing a healthy Clippers/Lakers teams in the first round.

The Warriors are rly greater than the sum of their parts, the issue is that if one of those parts goes down then the overall product is way worse
Also our team has a lot of different issues right now: Klay is still easing his way back and forcing it and Andrew "all star-starter" Wiggins is struggling rn

Lmao.
They clearly have issues beyond that.
No Draymond doesnt turn them into a losing team.
