Liga MX has the most deplorable fan bases in the world, today was proof of that during a Queretaro vs Atlas FC game. It was matchday 9 in the Mexican tournament as the world is going crazy with war between Ukraine and Russia. At the start of every game, all teams made a pledge for peace around the world but ultras in Mexican football don't really care about that. The Queretaro fans are infamous for how violent they can get in their own 'La Corregidora' stadium. They were losing 0-1 at the 60th minute with a solo goal from Julio Furch. Suddenly the images started getting unusual closeups from the players as a brawl erupted in the stands.

In a matter of minutes, several supporters started stepping into the pitch but mostly families, children and women were doing it. The fight that broke out in the stands will go down in history as one of the deadliest and most brutal in Liga MX history. As we write this article, there are already 17 reported dead as a result of a bitter rivalry between ultras from both teams. The most affected side was the Atlas fans, who are the ones reporting the highest count of deaths. not really. i'm pretty sure when i was a kid, i'd hear about a primo or tia that had just crossed, now i don't really know anyone that crossed recently...or within the last couple of years. they just migrate to mexican states with better job opportunities. sonora for example has had an increase of decent paying jobs. the mexican economy has gotten better throughout the years.

Honestly though, Mexican soccer fans have been getting more violent in recent times but the Argentines are still crazier, also Brazilians.

I've been to that stadium, that's the city where I live, granted it's been more than a decade that I went to see a game and back then there were no security issues. The fan base of the local club have in recent times gotten a reputation for being rowdy even though their team really isn't one of the major teams in La Liga MX.
