Nasdaq closed 20% off its recent high confirming an official stock bear market.
Past bear market corrections have been an average of -32.5% decline from the peak value.
Buckle up boys. It’s going to be a long way down.

Quick! The dollar is devaluing at a near record pace! Everyone sell your assets for dollars! Logical moves!
lol.
Get back to me when the fed does anything meaningful(read: not minimal bullshit hikes) with interest rates to curb inflation.

Looks like a bear market, but keep in mind it has to continue over a period of time to call it a bear market. You can't have bear market one day and the next day, it's over. Then a week later, you say we are in bear market again. It has to be over a longer period than 2 weeks.
OP made this thread 2 weeks ago: http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?502319-U-S-Stocks-have-officially-entered-a-bear-market
It dropped today because of news that US is considering stopping all oil imports from Russia. If market stays like this (or lower) over the next few months then it's a bear market. I don't expect the war to continue for that long. The next event to watch for is rate hike this month (not sure what date), which is going to damage the market for a little bit. Once we get past those 2 events, things look like they will recover. Earnings reports from companies and jobs reports are looking very good this year so far. I would be optimistic.

Does this mean it's a good buying opportunity?

I believe so, yes. But we may not have completely hit bottom yet. I believe it's close to the bottom. The lead up to the rate hike over next week may be the bottom, but it's almost impossible to call the bottom.

Support levels are breaking. Don’t buy in yet if you’re afraid of catching falling daggers. Market is in a downtrend since the beginning of the year.

No it doesn’t. Once the stock market closes 20% or lower on any given day that signals the start of a bear market. How long it takes to get to the average bottom of -32.5% is anyone’s guess. History supports this fact. The two week duration you mentioned has no relevance.

The recovery that started a week ago feels real. If it dips more anytime in these next few days or the next week or two I will buy the dip, well of course keeping in mind that a recession is still possible and I could just keep dipping more and more, no way to tell
