Let’s say Westbrook leaves to Washington and Durant stays in OKC. The rest of Durant’s path is the same as Westbrooks and assume he’s healthy every year.
Does Durant win MVP in 2017 by himself in OKC?
Does he win a chip in 2018/19 with Paul George as his costar (and Melo)?
Does he win in 2020 in Houston with Harden?

1.no
2.hell no
3.maybe i dont see them beating the lakers though unless they kept capela and still probably not. AD in the bubble was 1 of only 3 times in his career where he was a superstar (the other times are 2016 playoffs and 2015 regular season)
edit no to question 3. Capela was hurt that year so they didnt have a shot in hell of beating the lakers in the bubble that year. I dont see Covington and KD stopping AD + McGee and who would guard lebron?

That means KD wouldve got to play with Chris Paul and/or Paul George when they were already leading the Thunder to the playoffs. Chris Paul and Durant would be a totally lethal combo as would PG13 and KD. And then you guys would be complaining about that.

CP3 and Durant don't play defense; the Paul George version would work better. Those 2020 Lakers were big on scoring inside, and they got artificially hot from three in the playoffs. On the other side of the ball, you're going up against the #1 defense. That would be tall order for the Thunder.

Cp3 is one of the best defensive PGs of all time.
Durant since 2015 has been an elite defender

Durant and PG would be a nasty duo.
KD and CP3 wouldn’t do nearly as well as you’re assuming
