First off I know he has had criticism for a few years... but prior to him diss'n CP3 / he has in all accounts a whack job.
But being a whack job also comes with some merit , and that is he thinks as the great ones do , that he is the best.

Right now I am really surprised how well he has molded his game with Joel E. and the rest of the 6er's .
He plays within the system , and the system is rewarding him.
He has had some confrontations with some teammates , but is playing for the good of the team.

One of the players will probably be gone next year , cause he was on a short term , spot player,,who is getting old.

I like his play , and if you watch his game 100% of a game , you'll see what I am talking about.

People always give Harden shit for his style of play and postseason performances, which is understandable. But if you look at how well his teams have done in the past it's pretty obvious he is an extremely valuable piece to any team. He didn't have a big role in OKC, but he and the team flourished when he was there. He co-existed with CP3 on the court very well, they were one game away from beating a Juggernaut of a Warriors team and last season with the Nets people forget he was in the MVP race right before he got injured. He has proven he can fit very well with other stars.

He's done really well with the 76ers. 5 games with them, and he already looks like the perfect fit. He does a great job at making his teammates better, and has especially been elevating Maxey and Embiid by giving them easy looks. The team as a whole looks unstoppable right now with Harden.
