I do have issues with people destroying government property. Like the police buildings, police cars, and courthouses that ANTIFA burned down in 2020 and not a damn thing was done about it.

Several people were murdered too during the 2020 riots. Not a damn thing was done about it.

It's because some of the stuff you'll hear in the next weeks is going to question what is actually going on there.

Yes there's obviusly a military operation going that's defineable as a war, but the only people that's told us that Putin was invading the whole country are western politicians and media. Putin himself has said that war is to take out Ukrainian military and kill nazis.

The big convoy has been used as proof of an invasion within this narrative, and the fact that it was sitting still for days has been used as a way to say that Putin might be losing the war, and that we need to do everything to support it.

Lots of experts has been in the media over the last week to explain how it was stuck because Putin was only prepared for a conflict that would last a few days. But then the convoy moved again yesterday.

You can turn on Russian TV and get one side of propaganda filled with lies, or you can turn on western TV and get another set of lies. There's no reason to think that any of the sides are telling the truth, e.g stories like the Ghost of Kyiv was allowed to circle western news channels without any confirmation that it was even real footage and not from a video game.

I guess the point is that in today's world, there's no way of knowing what's really going on unless you are there yourself, and even then you might still be tricked - there are plenty of people in Ukraine now who believe in the Ghost of Kyiv story.

Don't forget that 20 years ago they fully managed to fabricate a war lie. WMDs in Iraq, which a lot of people belived in was probably true at the time, including myself. In 2011 they did another one with Libya. I don't see why I should trust the same people now.
