The prime Lebron who could drive to the basket at will and didn't get tired, would FEAST on today's position-less/centerless lineups. He'd average 38PPG and 2-3 oppoising defenders would get fouled out or be in foul trouble every game.

True or False?

True

Heck, does anyone think that Tatum couldn't get 40 every night on a BAD team?

Seems like he could

But this is why people say MJ would average 50 today or get close

It is easier for him to score now. But the league will adjust if it mattered. Right now, it's fine to let lebron have his 29 points because they lose anyway. Teams are not really trying to stop lebron.

Big man ball-dominance is literally the worst strategy in basketball, so teams have always "wanted him to dribble and get stats" according to Stan Van Gundy..

Ultimately, he needs equal-scoring partners because his high scoring is too ball-dominant for a frontcourt player to beat good teams

Peak LeBron would obliterate this league.

Of course he would annihilate the league. Not 38 ppg because he doesn't have the scoring mentality but ~33 ppg on elite efficiency in his sleep.

No. He’d average about the same as he did in 2013.

The better question is, will he be above .500?

I'm not sure about that. Peak LeBron in 2013 was putting up insane efficiency numbers in a league that was more defensive and slower paced. The league averaged just 98 PPG back then whereas now it averages nearly 110 PPG.

In addition, he shot nearly 57% and 41% from deep. It's one of the greatest individual seasons ever when you consider how well he shot the ball from all over the court. Add him being in his athletic peak and he'd easily put up well over 30 PPG.

I think dankok is right in saying somewhere around 33 PPG, maybe even higher.

No. He’d average about the same as he did in 2013.

Depends on what team he's on but it's probably closer to what he averaged in '13 than what the stans are saying. He was really efficient but that was with him playing within a team concept with Wade and Bosh sharing the load and him not dominating the ball as much. He took the least amount of FGA in '13 and '14 if you look at his entire career and the FTA was the lowest since his rookie year at the time as well.

Here's why Jordan wouldn't average 50...Jordan doesn't have the size and strength of Lebron to get to the rim consistenly all game/ every game.

Tatum is a better SHOOTER then Jordan, so their skillset is a little different. Tatum shoots a better 3 then Jordan. Prime Jordan would give you 30-32 now just like he did in the past.

True.

Prime Wilt would average minimum 80.

Wilt couldn't dribble or shoot, pretty sure you've actually never seen 5 games with Chamberline involved.

He would average the same as he did in the 2004 Olympics.
