After nearly two years without touching a video game I bought the new Xbox on a whim.

The only games coming out I even wanna play for sure are on the PlayStation I believe but they won’t be out for like a year so **** it.

I need Xbox usernames. I’m gonna have to chronicle my battles with ISH on 2k. I had a good 5 year run of Crew mode when 2k did that and Gobb and I developed insane chemistry often ruined by a few posters here who will remain nameless. I bet most of you moved to PlayStation but let me know.

Series X. I have 2k, the new Halo, and something I already forgot downloading now. I saw that other game getting hyped. Reminds me of the Witcher 3 which is the last game I actually played through.

However, my policy is to not buy on or near release. I prefer waiting a few months when it drops in price. There is no rush, and I have plenty of games to keep me busy until then.

Honestly, the best thing you can probably do is sign up to gamepass. That's pretty much a no-brainer for Xbox players. Basically a net-flix type service, all Xbox first party titles launch on service day and date, you could get by without buying a game TBH.

Keep in mind I played everything on ps4 and PC. You will have to check if a particular game is on xbox side.

If you never played the Halo series, you can do that on Xbox (Master Chief collection). Gears of War series.

It also depends on what genres you are into. I mainly prefer action/adventure/rpg/thriller. It must have a good story though or I don't bother. I don't play multiplayer anymore like I used to when I was younger.

Aside from sports games? The Witcher 3, Red dead 2, and I believe San Andreas are the only games I’ve played all the way through. Really enjoyed all three I just rarely stumble over story type games and finish them.

Elden ring looks like it may hold my attention if I start it.
