I was trying to watch a finals game with some Jordan stans a few years ago and they spent all game attacking LeBron every chance they got. There was a Kobe stan there too who was a bit more neutral but he did throw in his "Kobe's better" statement at one point. These guys barely watched basketball since the 90s. I received a LeBron meme picture text from one of them a couple weeks ago since he knows LeBron is my favorite player. It's really pathetic high school level shit. I don't watch basketball with them anymore. I'm actually embarrassed for them and other Jordan stans like them.

If I say anything bad about Jordan I usually don't mean it unless it's true, these MJ stans are full of hatred towards some guy who is also good at basketball though. Why not just enjoy the game? They seem deeply insecure about this stuff for some reason.

So many sports fans are petty beyond belief and I believe it relates to their deeper personality flaws.
