View Full Version : How bad has AD hurt the Lakers in the past 2 years?

With Lebron James playing at a high level one can’t not begin to think how much soft Anthony street clothes Davis has hurt them the last two seasons. Last year they have the Suns down 2-1 and this idiot who doesn’t seem to know how to jump and land on his feet gets hurt and it’s all down hill from there. You can blame Westbrook all you want this year but with a healthy prime Anthony Davis this Lakers team playing together and developing chemistry would most likely be a 4-6 seed at least. It’s pitiful how Anthony brittle legs Davis is somewhat ruining Lebrons last years.

AD lifted the Lakers from lottery to champion in 1 year by turning the defense from worst to first and leading the team in scoring for the regular season and playoffs - he led the whole league in playoff scoring
Accordingly, the historical record shows that Lebron's skillset of big man ball-dominance can only have a .500 team in the East, and needs to be the lower-scoring "pippen" out West to contend.

AD is hurt, but it’s him “ruining LeBron’s last few years”? Do you know how stupid and crazy that sounds?
Everyone is playing for LeBron to you?
AD shouldn’t have even been there to begin with. That was manipulated. And he won LeBron a ring in 2020, even if meaningless due to it being in the Mickey Mouse Bubble.
LeBron couldn’t finish the Suns in the first round, with them having no CP3 and AD helping give them the lead in the series.
Bron has more than enough talent who win, maybe it’s on him? AD isn’t choosing to be injured. Dumb.

I wouldn’t say he single-handedly lifted them to the championship that year. Would that Lakers team win it all without Lebron? No way they would of. Part of being a superstar is being well conditioned and taking care of your body, all these injuries seem to be way more then just luck. He’s SOFT.

Such poor cucks. Ungrateful too, it was AD that took them from lottery to chip. He can’t control his injuries. He can’t help control outcome when not on the floor.

This softie is such a lazy bussy. LeBron wins a chip for him and he proceeds never to play hard again, nor make any effort into staying in shape and get healthy. Dude literally got injured twice in the same game earlier this season.

AD is the only reason Lakers were ever contenders.
They've performed at a lottery level without him over a big sample size.

They also gave up a lot for him to be injured this often.

What they gave up they failed with initially. LeBron wasn't winning with Ingram and lonzo ball. They couldn't even make the playoffs. He needs MVP talent to win.

2019 was a weird season. Lebron, Ingram, Lonzo, Rondo, and Caruso all missed over 30 games. In some cases it was way more. Who knows what goes down once they're all healthy.
But they gave up all of that for a guy who misses half of his games these days. Ultimately I'd think they'd say it's worth it because of the championship but it looks bad now.

They still had Rondo and Caruso when they won the title so they didn't give those guys up for AD. Its pretty much indefensable to say a LeBron, Ingram, and Lonzo core wins a title. Even you wouldn't believe that.

No, probably not. They're not lottery though. Accounting for Kuzma as well? Anywhere from 50 to 55 wins seems right, provided they're not completely decimated with injuries like in 2019.
