Regardless of how you feel about him, LeBron was undoubtedly the most hyped prospect in sports history.

I still laugh at the fact they had this intro comparing a high school kid to literally the greatest players in league history :lol

I’m still laughing about how he got outscored by Jason Terry in the NBA Finals.

The hype around LeBron was insane. As early as the 2001-02 season, two seasons before he would be drafted, people were talking about how teams should tank their entire 2002-03 season just so they could increase their odds of getting the #1 pick for him. For a HIGH SCHOOL player. Which is why I must admit in shame that I initially hated LeBron, because that whole era was tainted with the likes of Jonathan Bender, Darius Miles and Kwame Brown - players who should've clearly stayed in college. But as crazy as the hype was, it's even crazier that LeBron not only matched it, but exceeded it! What a friggin beast!! :applause:

He was and he has lived up to all the hype and exceeded alot of it.
This season is not it tho. He should retire soon. Otherwise new player stans are gonna use this against him
