Yeah it is a pretty safe bet the Nets gave him a thorough physical after the trade. No way they would trade for him if they thought he might not play this season. They could void the trade if his back was that bad.

I've been watching him and he's been absolutely dominating the boards. His only weakness is he gets hunted in PnR mismatches by star wing players but overall he's been great for the nets whose only other option is this Claxton guy who hustled hard but is a relative nobody and looks like a stiff breeze could knock him over.
