It's a coping mechanism. Think about all the losing he's done during his career. If he didn't have a sense of humor about it, it wouldn't be healthy at all.

I want 40 000 points. I understand why he is smiling but I want moar.

He should definitely go for 40K. Kareem isn't even a problem, as long as he remains even remotely healthy. 40K should be his real target.

His DWS number seems to be above average and he's 2nd in PPG. So I don't think I would call him a liability.

I'm not sure you've seen him playing then. DWS doesn't tell the whole story. He routinely stands there and watches his man score. Like a lot.

A case can be made for somewhere in the 7-10 range. He's certainly not anywhere close to #1 though.

Losing the game sucks but he also hit a huge milestone. Can't help but be proud of your longevity and consistency scoring the ball. Kobe and Mzj couldn't get there.. it's an accomplishment
